Our journey with Setur began in June of 2021 when we began to analyse their content, and from February 2022, we began to look at how we could better structure their website through SEO consultancy. As this period was when the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic were still restricting tourism, we looked at how we could make Setur more competitive within the market. We also noted that their customers were struggling with IT support issues as well as other technical SEO problems that were resulting in lost customers. This combined with the struggling tourism sector were major issues that needed to be solved, so we made sure to uniquely structure our strategy around this.

As we were dealing with a unique situation, our tactics for how we were going to strategise our content marketing and SEO consultancy efforts for Setur had to also be unique. Along with standard techniques, we had to create new and effective ways to attract the target market. The basis of our strategy was to improve the user focus, which is one of the key principles of any SEO and content marketing campaign.
We also knew that to attract customers, we had to have a better understanding of the market and the target audience. Setur had completed a persona study in 2021 that took into account 11 million of their customers. This information allowed us to split the target audience into four different groups and from this, we were able to better understand Setur’s customers and their needs.
This vital information allowed us to get inside the mind of the customers who were using the services offered by Setur. The ability to better understand the target audience through this analysis allowed us to create content that was directed at answering the most common questions asked by users! This tactic not only worked but exceeded the goals that we had set and led us to win the Best Low-Budget SEO campaign at the Global Search Awards 2022!
