Founded in 2018, BulutVet is a brand that set out with the mission of bringing modern technology together with veterinary clinics as the pioneer of digital transformation in veterinary services. The brand, which produces technological solutions to facilitate the daily work of veterinarians in the clinic, offers its customers a cloud-based management program that can be used wherever there is internet. With privileges such as appointment, accounting and treatment management offered by the program, BulutVet aims to make veterinary clinic management safer and higher quality.

Starting the Project

At the beginning of the project, a roadmap was prepared to emphasize BulutVet’s brand identity and increase its competitive power. In May 2023, we started working with BulutVet and developed a comprehensive content marketing strategy that appeals to its niche target audience. 

BulutVet, which entrusted all digital marketing processes from persona analysis to content production and from technical analysis to backlink studies to Markethinkers team, continues to grow step by step.

Strategy

Markethinkers always aims to develop strategies tailored to the needs and goals of the brand. In this process, we aimed to make BulutVet stand out in its sector by first making the technical structure SEO compatible and then focusing on content marketing and backlink works. We created a comprehensive SEO strategy by taking into account both competitor analysis and the brand’s existing site structure. We continued our work by taking advantage of all the possibilities of content marketing and completing the content of important pages. We can summarize the details of our strategy, which contributed to the strong presence of our brand in the digital environment, as follows:

  • We conducted extensive keyword research to help us develop our content strategy and identified the main and secondary queries to focus on.
  • In order to gain a competitive advantage, we conducted a competitor analysis study where we examined the content strategies, backlink profiles and site structures of competitors in the industry.
  • We conducted a persona study to get to know our target audience. Based on the personas we extracted, we determined the framework of the content strategy.
  • After getting to know our target audience and understanding their expectations, we conducted a category tree study and applied it to the site to make our website more user-oriented. 
  • We made algorithm-friendly improvements with technical SEO analysis to correct problems that negatively affect the user experience and increase the usability of the website. Some of these studies can be listed as SEO-compatible URL structure, image optimization, robots.txt errors, title-description optimizations, canonical issues.
  • Based on the content strategy created, we did content pruning work in which we updated the existing content on the site in accordance with our strategy and SEO-compatible content structure.
  • After making the existing content SEO compatible, we started regular content production in accordance with our strategy. Thus, we aimed to increase topical authority by producing content that dominates the sector and is relevant to our niche. As a result, we aimed to increase our traffic.
  • We made technical optimizations to provide a better experience for users visiting our website by analyzing site speed.
  • In order to increase the site authority, we have gained quality backlinks with content suitable for our brand identity. Since November 2023, when we started backlink work, our authority has increased by 12 units. While continuing to increase our authority, we also carried out regular harmful link optimizations against spam policies.

Project Goals and Results Achieved

At the beginning of our study, we set short-term and important goals with BulutVet, focusing on average position, total clicks and views metrics. After our work, when we compare the April-May-June periods of 2023 and 2024, the increase we achieved is as follows:

Our rise in organic searches also increased the success rate in total clicks and total views.

  • 398.34% increase in total clicks,
  • The total number of views increased by 298.59%.

While BulutVet was ranked in 3 keywords in the top 10 in May 2023 when we started our study, it managed to rank in the top 10 in 27 keywords in May 2024.

However, BulutVet, which was ranked with a total of 86 words in the top 100 in May 2023, was ranked in the top 100 with a total of 263 words in May 2024. While BulutVet was not ranked in SERP feature results in May 2023, it started to rank with 5 words in May 2024. 

In the light of this data, it is possible to say once again how key SEO, backlink studies and content marketing play a key role to stand out in the digital world.
